Do you ask why as an author I began with the most difficult books of the Bible?
I have always had the gift of administration so the first thing I did when I attended college was to create a file called Bible, then two sub-files of Old Testament and New Testament, and then documents for each of the 66 books. Every time I read a book, I quote the author under the chapter and verse to comment on fully understanding the text.
After graduating, I began to study a book until I knew what God wanted me to know. My first quest was Romans, of course, publishing Why Do My People Call Themselves Sinners? It was the first because it is the book on salvation. I needed to know how to tell people what Christ did for them. The Holy Spirit gave me the question, Why do my people cal themselves sinners? It took ten years before He fully answered the question. Then He sent a friend, Doug Purcey, to publish it and put it on Amazon. I will be forever grateful to Doug. The Holy Spirit would just not quit until it was published.
As I began to study Romans and look up all the major words in Greek, words like salvation, confession, repentance, righteousness, grace, faith, justification, flesh, consecration, holiness, etc., I came up with 40 words and realized that what I had was a commentary outlining the Doctrine of Christianity. The Holy Spirit was so instrumental. I would go to bed with questions on my mind and in the morning I would see a line of text with the answer. I would run to the computer and begin to type and the words would flow with never a mistake. I came to know that the Holy Spirit was the real author.
Over this same ten years I was on a quest for the answers to the end-times as well. After teaching it three times, the Holy Spirit showed me that it was complete and to publish it. About that time, I listened to Joseph Prince say one morning that the Song of Solomon was the bride of Christ. The Holy Spirit came all over me to research the time line to see if the Song of Solomon fit the timeline for Revelation according to Daniel 9:24-27. It did. The Marriage Supper of the Lamb happened at the same time. Then the Holy Spirit showed me how the Ancient Jewish Wedding was the foundation. The rest is history.
Celebrate King Jesus and Song of Solomon are difficult books because of their symbolism. I so enjoyed seeing the symbols mean the same thing over and over in the Bible. I pray that God is pleased that I not only listened, but acted on His Word to me. Lord, You deserve the glory; praise You Jesus!
